Industries: Commercial & Industrial Construction
All Tech Industries (ATI) spray-applied insulation, sealants and coatings are practical in a variety of new and rehabilitation construction projects in both the commercial and industrial sectors.
The following represents a few of the common applications.
Applications calling for Industrial Grade Insulation:
There is no better industrial insulation material than polyurethane spray foam. It provides a cleaner environment, reduces noise and produces superior energy savings. Applied as a liquid,
it fills cracks, and crevices to provide a climate-controlled building. It also reduces the chance of mold and mildew, and lowers utility cost.
ATI's industrial grade spray-foam insulation has many benefits to builders of commercial and industrial projects. It provides waterproofing, leak prevention, is an excellent insulation
medium and enhances the structural integrity of the finished product. The foam is lightweight with superior compressive strength, is durable, and carries a 20 year warranty.
Roof Coatings and Insulation:
All Tech Industries coatings and sealants make an excellent protective covering for polyurethane foam roofs. Our products are formulated and designed to meet specific performance
requirements. ATI coatings have the "Cool Roof" ENERGY STARŪ rating for color and reflectivity. These reflective coatings can help reduce the amount of energy consumption buildings
use for heating and cooling. The fast set time allows for quicker installation and supports vertical applications.
Waterproofing:
Foundation waterproofing is an important construction consideration. Typically, projects are damp-proofed instead of waterproofed. To effectively protect from water damage, projects must
be properly waterproofed.
Mold grows in environments where moisture is constant (i.e. water in soil surrounding a foundation produces constant moisture). Waterproofing is the only way to permanently stop water and vapors
from entering foundation walls. Spray-applied ATI coatings properly seal the pores of concrete surfaces and walls to provide a watertight seal against moisture.
All Tech Industries Ultra COAT™ is the optimum solution for waterproofing slabs, decks, roofs, and other surfaces to prevent leaks, rust, corrosion and water damage. Like all ATI coatings,
UltraCOAT™ has a fast set time, excellent adhesion, abrasion and corrosion resistance, a strong durable finish and is waterproof.
Joint Fill / Caulking:
ATI's sealants can be used as multi-purpose joint fill or caulking. They provide a flexible, durable, weather-tight, and traffic resistant seal for all types of building joints. These
include expansion joints and control joints in masonry floors, perimeter joints, water reservoirs, panels and doors. Our sealants have excellent crack-bridging properties with high elongation
and tensile strength. All ATI sealants offer fast cure times that allow for quicker installation and vertical application.
Food & Beverage:
ATI spray-applied insulation and coatings are ideal for food and beverage industry cold storage facilities, freezers and food-processing plants.
Keeping floors, walls, ceiling, gate, posts and rails clean and sanitized is a challenge. Our insulation and coating solutions provide a seamless, durable, low-maintenance, sanitary, safe,
non-slip surface that is temperature resistant and can reduce maintenance costs because areas clean easily by pressure washing.
ATI polyurethane spray-foam insulation is used in ice coolers due to its superior thermal insulation properties. The insulation is applied to the panels provided in most walk-in refrigerated
coolers as well.
Several of ATI's coating systems are ideal for potable water applications. They are FSA and USDA-acceptable and NSF-approved to ANSI-NSF 61 Standard for potable water storage, meat and
dairy processing plants, and butcher shop floors and walls.
Marine:
Below or above the water line, ATI coatings are effective in protecting steel, aluminum, wood and fiberglass in commercial and industrial marine applications.
From fish hold coatings, to hull protection and bilge coatings, ATI Ultra COAT™ is used in many abrasive, chemical and corrosion resistant marine applications, as well as waterproofing,
immersion and lining applications. ATI Ultra COAT™ has excellent physical properties and corrosion protection, superior adhesion properties, and the ability to withstand the forces of pile
driving, as well as preventing marine borers from penetrating the coating.
ATI polyurethane spray-foam insulation is also used in numerous marine applications. Its high strength-to-weight ratio, plus its resistance to gas and oil, makes it an integral part of the
manufacturing of boat, buoys, docks and flotation devices. It can be sprayed to meet most application requirements.
Mining:
ATI Coatings can be sprayed both in liquid form and in a fibrous web pattern. This allows an application to span large cracks in rock surfaces.
Conveyer belts become resistant to wear with the ATI spray applied coatings. Paddles and agitator shaft(s) of the trammel can be coated as well. Other uses included spay-coating vibrating screen bases.
With regard to closing or reclaiming mining sites, ATI polyurethane spray-foam insulation can be used to plug the openings when the mine does not want to provide access to wildlife habitat or people.
Spray Molds:
ATI products can be used for spray-in-mold processes. Our coatings and sealants have very fast reaction times and are meter mixed and dispensed through advanced plural component equipment.
These materials are dry to the touch within seconds after application reducing de-molds time dramatically. The system formulator to meet various application requirements can alter physical
properties of these materials.
Skid Resistant Surfaces:
All Tech Industries (ATI) offers coatings mixed with aggregates to achieve a skid resistant surface. All systems can be installed to meet ADA requirements for slip resistance. The ATI
skid-resistant coatings can be textured with silica sand, polypropylene beads or aluminum oxide.
In general, a smaller grade aggregate can be incorporated into the coating while larger aggregate must be broadcast and back rolled. The broadcast technique will leave variation in texture
and are naturally course, but can be made smoother through the use of additional topcoat materials. Troweled systems have a tendency to be more slip resistant due to the open architecture of
the blend. The slip resistance can also be adjusted through the use of various finish coats.
