Solutions: Coatings & Sealants

All Tech Industries (ATI) sealants and coatings are spray-applied solutions, which are designed to seal and protect the surface they are applied to. They are seamless and can be any desired thickness.  ATI’s sealants and coatings stand out from other products due to their superior strength and impact resistance.  That, coupled with their exceptional flexibility, which compensates for substrate movement and cracking, makes ATI the optimum choice.

All Tech Industries sealants and coatings can be completely customized, based on defined project requirements.  The flexibility to adapt our product formulations to deliver specified physical properties is a competitive advantage that wholesale distributors and service only companies cannot match.

All Tech Industries polyurea based products can be pure or hybrid designed.  Polyurea is a type of elastomer that is derived from the reaction product of an isocyanate component and a synthetic resin blend component through polymerization. The isocyanate can be aromatic or aliphatic in nature. It can be monomer, polymer, or any variant reaction of isocyanates, quasi-prepolymer or a prepolymer. The prepolymer, or quasi-prepolymer, can be made of an amine-terminated polymer resin, or a hydroxyl-terminated polymer resin.

ATI offers a product line of sealant and coatings that are commonly used for many project applications.  These products are listed below and Product Spec Papers are available (see Technical menu tab).

Ultra COAT™ Black is a spray-applied plural component, pure polyurea elastomer with a unique synergy of water and alcohol based chemistry that can be used as a stand-alone product or as a topcoat over aromatic polyureas, polyurethanes and hybrids.

Ultra COAT™ Black is formulated for many industrial and commercial applications. This highly cross linked elastomer offers an economical alternative to pure aliphatic or polyurea protective coatings.

Ultra COAT-ET™ and Ultra COAT-EE™ are high performance, sprayed, plural component, pure polyurea elastomer. This system is based on amine-terminated polyether resins, amine chain extenders and MDI prepolymers. It provides a flexible, resilient, monolithic membrane with enhanced water and chemical resistance.

Ultra COAT-
COLOR™ is a spray-applied plural component polyurea with a unique synergy of aliphatic and aromatic polymer chemistry that can be used as a stand-alone product or as a topcoat over aromatic polyureas, polyurethanes and hybrids.

Ultra COAT-
COLOR™ is formulated using amine terminated polyether resins, amine chain extenders, and aliphatic and aromatic prepolymers. For many applications this highly cross linked elastomer offers an economical alternative to pure aliphatic protective coatings.

Ultra COAT Composite 1.0™ and Ultra COAT Composite 3.0™ are the latest breakthroughs in spray-applied coatings. The advanced plural component, pure polyurea elastomer with a carbon fiber injected element delivers a high performance coating. This system is based on amine-terminated polyether resins, amine chain extenders and MDI prepolymers. It provides a monolithic membrane that offers flexibility, resiliency and exceptional strength, which makes it the most durable spray applied coating in the market.

The SUPER SEAL 3.0™ is based on amine-terminated polyether resins, amine chain extenders and MDI prepolymers. It provides a flexible, resilient, monolithic membrane with superior water, mold, mildew, dirt, bacteria and chemical resistance.

ATI's sealants can be used as multi-purpose joint fill or caulking. They provide a flexible, durable, weather-tight, and traffic resistant seal for all types of building joints. These include expansion joints and control joints in masonry floors, perimeter joints, water reservoirs, panels and doors. Our sealants have excellent crack-bridging properties with high elongation and tensile strength. All ATI sealants offer fast cure times that allow for quicker installation and vertical applications.

The SUPER SEAL 3.0™ provides a state-of-the-art, highly versatile, long lasting sealant solution with enhanced structural integrity and protection.

Every coating solution is installed by ATI certified technicians and our patented specialized equipment and application processes. The solution can be spray-applied to any thickness in a single application and the rapid set time supports various vertical applications. Tested for strength and protection in both the laboratory and in real-world applications, it provides the highest level of durability even under the most extreme conditions. ATI's coating solutions are an environmentally approved and contains no CFC's or HCFC's allowing it to meet strict environmental "green" standards.

Common Sealant and Coating Systems:

Acrylics:
Single component products which are readily available, and fairly easy to use. Often applied in numerous thin coats, acrylic sealers are available in both water and solvent based finishes. These are the most commonly used products for residential and light commercial finishes.

Epoxies:
Ideal when a superior bond with increased wear resistance and chemical resistance is required. Epoxies are available in both water emulsion, solvent as well as 100% solid formulations. Epoxies are known for their excellent adhesion properties and are often used as a primer coat for subsequent top coats.

Urethanes & Polyurethanes:
One of the toughest coating products available urethanes and polyurethanes are ideal as a finish coat on decorative concrete systems. The difference between a urethane and polyurethane is simply that a polyurethane is composed of multiple urethanes. Not always great with adhesion polyurethanes are often installed over an epoxy primer and they will give superior chemical resistant properties as well as very durable and abrasion resistant finish.

Polyurea:
A quick drying high quality coating system designed for fast turnaround and where only the best quality will do. Finding its way into industrial markets this new concept gives professional quality coating installations that are ready for about anything in just a couple hours while maintaining and even surpassing a high quality epoxy or polyurethane coating.

Basic Sealers:
Basic sealers can be any number of products, depending on the look and outcome desired. It is very common for Basic to use a water based acrylic or even a desifier to leave the natural finish. If a high gloss finish is desired an epoxy or solvent acrylic will yield these results.

Hardeners & Desifiers:
Often used during the coating and sealant process. Hardeners and desifiers are penetrating sealers that absorb into the pores of the substrate and then crystallize on a microscopic level when dry. These crystalline type growths help to seal and harden the surface of the substrate making it a more dense and durable surface.
